Information you provide

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the contact and product details you enter so we can review and respond to your request.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to assess and answer your sourcing request and, if you ask us to proceed, to take requested pre-contract steps. We do not use the enquiry form for marketing subscriptions. Where applicable, we also process information to meet legal duties or protect and pursue legal claims. Depending on the case, the legal basis is taking steps you request before a possible contract, our legitimate interest in handling a business enquiry, or compliance with a legal obligation.

Sharing and retention

We share only the information needed with relevant suppliers, inspection, logistics and technology providers to assess or fulfil your request. We first share product requirements without personal contact details where practicable; personal details are shared with a supplier only when needed and after you are informed. Enquiry records that do not lead to an order are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required for legal duties or claims. If personal data must be accessed or transferred outside the EEA, we do so only after confirming an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism and safeguards.
